Increase Internal Phone Memory: 163MB becomes 0.89GB on Samsung Galaxy Young

0. Before do this, backup all your data: Contact & SMS by using application on Google Play or manually and charge your phone until it's full.

Install/reinstall your samsung driver. Connect your phone to computer. If it doesnt detect, remove the battery from the phone and wait for driver installation.

1. Turn off your phone by pressing power on/off button on upside right of your phone for two seconds, the Phone option popup will show, then choose power off, after that choose ok.
2. Install samsung_usb_driver.exe (from developer.samsung.com or driver just for galaxy young on http://androidxda.com/download-samsung-usb-drivers) on your computer if you dont have the driver on your computer. If you already had it, then skip this step.
3. After the phone is off, plug the usb cable into your phone and the computer. wait for loading until the phone is charging.
4. Open odin3 v1.85.exe, it will show with ID:COM as 0:[COM33], with AutoReboot and F.Reset Time is checked
5. Go to Odin or download mode by pressing orderly volume down(on downside left), then home button, then power on/off button together, until Warning screen showup and then press volume up(on upside left).
6. On odin3 v1.85 screen, it will show with ID:COM as 0:[COM34]
7. Choose file PDA_S5360_DXLJ1.tar.md5 for PDA, file MODEM_S5360_DXLI1.tar.md5 for Phone and file CSC_S5360_OLBLG1.tar.md5 for CSC and press start. Wait until it is finish.
8. If the reset is success, on the Odin3 v1.85 will show Pass! and the message is:

9. Your phone will reboot manually.
10. After your phone is on, it will show Welcome to GT-S5360 screen.
Press change language to your language, for example English(United State).
11. After that, Press The Android Robot like how the animation shows for us.
After that, press skip on Setup your Google Account
After that, press next on Use Google Location
12. Go to Setting, choose SD card and phone storage
See your internal memory size(original size), mine is 163 MB.
13. Turn off your phone.

14. Unplug your usb cable to your phone.
15. Take out your sdcard of your phone and put it on memory card reader.
16. Plug memory carder into your computer.
17. Copy file of update.zip to your sdcard.
18. Eject your card reader.
19. Put again your sdcard to your phone
20. Go to Recovery mode by pressing volume up, home and power on/off together for at least 5 second and release it and wait.
21. Choose apply update from sdcard by pressing volume down and apply what we choose by pressing home button
22. Choose update.zip by pressing volume down and apply what we choose by pressing home button
23. Process will run and will show:
Installing su and Superuser.apk...
Installing OK...
by yodeput...
Install from sdcard complete
24. Choose reboot system now and apply what we choose by pressing home button
25. After your phone is on, you will find Superuser application on your phone.
26. Turn off your phone

26a.make everything clean by formatting the sdcard -->backup all the file on your sdcard before format
turn on your phone. go to setting, sd card and phone storage setting
format sdcard, then erase everything then unmount sdcard.
after that copy file .zip:
update.zip, CWM_bla_bla.zip, RV4-kernel7.final.zip, and ext-s.zip
[optional]bootanimation-ldpi(1).zip and poweron.ogg
26b.turn off your phone

27. Go to Recovery mode by pressing volume up, home and power on/off together for at least 5 second and release it and wait.
28. Choose apply update from sdcard by pressing volume down and apply what we choose by pressing home button
29. Choose CWM_bla_bla_bla.zip by pressing volume down and apply what we choose by pressing home button
30. After we are in CloclworkMod Recovery:
-Choose advanced by pressing volume down and apply what we choose by pressing home button
-Choose Partition SD card, Ext Size 1024M for your internal memory size that you want,
and Swap Size 256M (Swap Size=2xoriginal internal memory)
31. wait until the partitioning is finished
32. Go to previous menu, by pressing back button (beside home button) on your phone
33. Choose reboot system now by pressing volume down and apply what we choose by pressing home button
34. If you use MiniPartitionTools52.exe, put your sdcard on memory card and plug it into your computer,
and choose delete all partition on your sdcard, after that use this configuration:
-Let's say i have 16GB sdcard
-for your data, 15GB
-for your internal memory, 1GB
-for swap, 256M
After that click apply and wait until it is finish. Eject it and put your sdcard into your phone.

35. Copy file CWM_bla_bla.zip, RV4-kernel7.final.zip, and ext-s.zip to your sdcard using card reader.
Eject it and put your sdcard into your phone.
Go to Recovery mode by pressing volume up, home and power on/off together for at least 5 second and release it and wait.
36. Choose apply update from sdcard by pressing volume down and apply what we choose by pressing home button
37. Choose CWM_bla_bla_bla.zip by pressing volume down and apply what we choose by pressing home button
38. After we are in CloclworkMod Recovery:
-choose wipe data/reset, confirm by choosing yes [optional]
-choose wipe cache partition, confirm by choosing yes [optional]
-choose mount and storage:
--choose mount /data, then it will show unmount /data
--choose mount /sdcard, then it will show unmount /sdcard
--choose mount /system, then it will show unmount /system
39. Go to previous menu, by pressing back button (beside home button) on your phone
40. Choose install zip from sd by pressing volume down and apply what we choose by pressing home button
41. Choose choose zip from sdcard by pressing volume down and apply what we choose by pressing home button
42. Choose RV4-kernel7.final.zip by pressing volume down and apply what we choose by pressing home button,
confirm by choosing yes. Wait and when it is finish, it will show:

See your internal memory size (current size), it becomes 0.89GB.

1.If u get a Msg at the start as "SYSTEM UID INCONSISTENT" and All apps force closes, make sure you follow the step above. Do not wipe data/reset and cache partition after you have install the kernel.
2.If mobile didnt auto reboot after clicking in Ext Manager , make sure you have mount system, data, sdcard as the step above.
3.Try to format atau partitioning using feature of the phone. If this fails, then use tools like Partition Magic.

1. Download Root Browser(Free) or Root Explorer(Paid)
2. Open it
3. Go to System/media, rename the old one(bootanimation.zip) if you could find it, copy the new of bootanimation.zip, here.
4. Go to System/etc, rename the old one(poweron.ogg) if you could find it, copy the new one of the poweron.ogg here.
5. Reboot your phone, see how it works.

Pertama kali aku bertemu dia saat aku sedang makan. Dia juga makan dan duduk di sampingku. Aku memulai pembicaraan dengan menanyakan apakah dia bekerja di kantor X. Dan dia bilang ya. Dia berkata aku pasti pernah melihatnya di situ. Setelah itu memulai pengenalan dari mana dia berasal. Dan aku menanyakan apakah dia sudah berkeluarga. Kata dia, sudah tetapi masih secara hukum agama, belum berdasarkan hukum negara. Terakhir aku minta no telp dan namanya.
Aku ajak keluar bareng dia ke sebuah pameran. Sungguh menyenangkan. Menemani dia minum kopi dan makan roti. Menunggu dia ibadah. Hari pun beranjak malam. Aku menawarkan apakah masih mau berkeliling. Kata dia, dia mau ke mall makan. Dan akhirnya kami makan di tempat pizza. Dia mentraktirku makan. Sepanjang bersama dia, kami sama2 sering bercanda. Kemudian kami foto2. Pas mau pulang, kami kehabisan kereta api. Akhirnya naik angkot. Sungguh hari yang panjang. Tapi besoknya dia malah sakit. Aku jadi merasa bersalah.
Main ke kosnya minggu besoknya. Dia belikan pizza lagi. Duduk di teras kosnya. Bercerita tentang negaranya. Dan ada kata yang aku suka yang dia bilang. "Suicide is just permanent solution for temporary problem". Kata dia, itu pengalaman pertama kalinya dia duduk di teras kosnya bercerita dengan seseorang. Dia bercerita banyak. Contohnya, mengalami banyak kejadian aneh di negara ini. Mulai dari hampir nginap di tempat pelacuran, mempunyai pelatih gym yang mengiranya dia suka sama cowok, dan temannya yang bercandaain dia dengan mengatakan kepada pelatih gym klo dia suka ama cowok.
Pengalaman pas ke toko buku bareng dia. Dia ke market dulu beli minuman dan makanan untukku. Kami duduk di luar, bercerita tentang budaya negaranya dan negaraku, bercerita tentang agamanya dan agamaku. Kemudian baru ke toko buku. Tapi sekedar liat2. Habis itu pulang. Kata dia, dia sedikit pusing.
Aku main ke kos nya lagi. Aku dibuatin sandwich ikan tuna. Sungguh itu pertama kalinya aku makan sandwich ikan tuna. Dia buat sendiri pakai baker yang dia bawa dari negaranya. Kemudian aku pamit pulang.
Kemarin aku main ke kos nya. Bercerita tentang pengalaman dia ketemu orang yang berpakaian wanita tetapi berparaskan pria. Dia berkata apa itu? Tentang pengalaman dia melihat tetangganya membawa troli dan ternyata trolinya berisi mayat ortunya. Habis itu pulang.
Hari ini seharian bersama dia. Merencanakan berlibur. Aku ajak dia ke ruangan kantor yang awalnya berniat hanya beli tiket, sampai akhirnya pada sesi foto2 dan video. Dia berlatih sungguh keras untuk berbicara dengan bahasa negara ini. Kami sama2 kelaparan. Akhirnya kami pergi mencari makan kemudian pulang.
